Installation

Jira Helper is a browser extension that adds WIP limits, Gantt charts, and other useful features to Jira. It works with Jira Server and Jira Data Center. Jira Cloud is not supported.

Privacy: No data is ever sent to third parties. The extension communicates only with your Jira instance through its existing API. No analytics, no telemetry, no external servers.

Supported Browsers​

  • Chrome, Edge, Yandex and other Chromium-based browsers
  • Firefox
  • Safari is not supported

Install​

Chromium (Chrome, Edge, Yandex, etc.)​

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store page
  2. Click Add to Chrome → Add Extension

Firefox​

  1. Open the Firefox Add-ons page
  2. Click Add to Firefox → Add

After Installation​

  1. Reload your Jira page
  2. Open any Scrum or Kanban board
  3. You'll see the Jira Helper button in the board toolbar — a square button labeled "Jira Helper", to the right of Jira's gear icon

Alternatively, open Board settings — you'll see Jira Helper configuration buttons in various sections: Columns, Swimlanes, Card layout, etc.
